What: 15 min taster sessions for just £10! (normally £35 for 30 mins skiing).

SnowCamp are a youth charity who, uniquely through snow sport, offer young people from inner-city environments the opportunity to learn new life-skills through initiatives such apprenticeship schemes. The objective is to introduce them to a new sport, normally too socio-economically remote for them to enjoy, in the hope it enables them to learn new life skills, build self esteem and make positive future life choices. And ultimately to develop them into our future snowsport professionals.

Snowcamp are running The Alpine Challenge event for the 6th year running, where your team of 4 riders are challeneged to clock up 150km+ of GPS tracked skiing or boarding over 2 non stop days across the 15 resorts of the massive Portes du Soleil ski area, navigating to 25 checkpoints across each of the 15 ski resorts. The team that clocks up the most km's and successfully visits the most checkpoints will win The Snow-Camp Alpine Challenge 2015!! It's all about strategy, stamina, teamwork and good fun!

Skiplex have already funded our instructor's attendance costs at the Alpine Challenge but each instructor must further raise £600 each as their charitable donation to SnowCamp by March 2015, therefore ALL donations go straight to Snowcamp. 

So come along to our event and have a ski for just £10!

Alternatively if you come into our Reading Skiplex, be sure to guess the name of a GIANT meerkat toy - if you get it right you can take him home! Just £5 per guess.
